About Us

ALWAYS. KEEP. LEARNING.

SRC was established in 2017 at the request of local social and academic researchers, who identified a need to develop a space where research hypotheses and findings can be validated through local research actions.
SRC’s mission is to support young academics to bring their research into action and to encourage older workers and retirees to develop their skills as social researchers.
As SRC has grown, we also provide academics with the opportunity to give their research a European perspective.

ICE-CAP

Waste Not Want Not

The objectives of the project are to:

The ICE-CAP project represents a completely new innovation to raise awareness of the circular economy. There is nothing in the lexicon of training resources available to adult educators that resembles the family learning educational intervention proposed in this project. There have been few, if any, projects that combine different age appropriate educational tools and resources into one comprehensive family education resource.
The ICE-CAP project will also provide in-service training for adult educators that focuses on building their skills and their confidence to develop bespoke challenge-based digital breakout and WebQuest educational resources.
